It doesn't get much better than this. It's a still from "Symphony in Slang", directed by Tex Avery and designed by Tom Oreb.

¡Ay, corre por su vida! ¡Es una araña gigante!

Somebody out there took this footage of a giant spider attacking the space shuttle! But of course, our government is trying to downplay it...saying is just a little spider. Sure it is....

Thanks boing-boing!

Goblin

I ran across this the other day whilst an internet surf. My illegitimate "Pop", Ray Harryhausen drew it for a Forrey Ackerman Mag.

14 Million...that's right bee-atch!!

That's how many peeps were watching Rankin-Bass's beloved Xmas special according to the Hollywood Reporter. It warms the cockles of my heart knowing that after 40+ years, TV and Movie execs still can't top the O.G. Xmas special. Har-Har!

Faith healing sign outside Mr. Toad's Wild Ride

I came across this on Boing Boing and thought to share. Mucho funny eh? Here's a link.

Milking it.

Check it out yo! Here be an article about our work in restoring the beloved Rudolph and Santa puppets. They could have written a little more about us and the actual restoration. And mention Robin, since she was the one who really restored it. Anyway, it's still cool to be mentioned on CNN right?

Oooh...pretty!

This is waaay cool. Some very cool chap put this together from one of the backgrounds of "Popeye meets Sindbad the Sailor". These backgrounds were fully dimensional and were shot behind the cartoon cells. The Fleischer bros coined this process "stereo-optic". If I ever get to make something this cool, then me would be happy.
